By using Crown Gold Exchange's services — including our website, branches, and doorstep service — you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Offered

Crown Gold Exchange provides gold buying, valuation, and purity testing services across Chennai. We purchase gold jewellery, coins, bars, and other gold items from individuals at market-linked rates.

2. Gold Valuation & Pricing

• All valuations are based on the MCX spot rate at the time of transaction
• Purity is determined by German XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence) testing conducted in your presence
• The final offer is based on net weight (after removing stones and non-gold components) multiplied by purity and today's rate
• Online rate quotes are indicative only — final pricing is confirmed at the branch or during doorstep evaluation

3. Transaction Process

• You must be 18 years or older to sell gold with us
• A valid government-issued photo ID is required for all transactions above ₹50,000 (as per RBI guidelines)
• You confirm that the gold you are selling is your lawful property
• Once a transaction is completed and payment made, it is final and cannot be reversed

4. Doorstep Service

• Doorstep visits are available within select areas of Chennai
• Our evaluators carry verified ID — you have the right to check credentials before proceeding
• You are under no obligation to sell following a doorstep evaluation

5. Payment

Payment is made instantly on the same day via cash (up to ₹2,00,000 per RBI norms) or NEFT / IMPS bank transfer for higher amounts. No cheques are issued.

6. Website Use

The gold rates displayed on this website are for informational purposes and updated daily. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit content from this website without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

Crown Gold Exchange shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or website. Our liability is limited to the value of the transaction in question.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
